1 Who We Are
EarnKro ("we", "us", "our") is an online reward platform accessible via the EarnKro mobile application and the website earnkro.com. The platform allows users to earn points by watching ads, completing tasks, and referring friends — redeemable for Amazon gift cards.
EarnKro is operated by an individual publisher based in India. For any privacy-related queries, contact us at contact@earnkro.com.
2 Data We Collect
We collect data in two stages depending on how far you use the app:
Full list of data we collect:
- Google Advertising ID (GAID) — a resettable device-level identifier assigned by Android. Used to track your points and session. You can reset this in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.
- Email address — collected only when you choose to redeem rewards. Used to verify your identity and send the gift card code. Never used for marketing without consent.
- FCM Token — a device token used to send you push notifications (only if you grant permission).
- Points, transactions, and activity logs — records of spins, ads watched, tasks completed, referrals, and rewards claimed. Stored to run the platform, prevent abuse, and show you your history.
- Referral information — if you were referred by another user, we record that linkage to credit the referrer. No personal details of the referrer are shared with you.
- IP address (transient) — logged briefly during API requests for abuse prevention. Not stored long-term.
3 How We Use Your Data
- To operate the platform — tracking points, processing spins, crediting ad views, validating referrals, and displaying your wallet balance.
- To deliver rewards — sending Amazon gift card codes to your verified email address upon successful redemption.
- To prevent fraud and abuse — detecting duplicate accounts, bot activity, and abnormal earning patterns that violate our terms.
- To send push notifications — only if you explicitly grant notification permission. Includes daily spin reminders, Lucky Hours alerts, and streak notifications.
- To improve the app — aggregate, anonymised analytics to understand which features are used, session lengths, and crash patterns. This data cannot be traced back to you.
- Legal compliance — retaining records as required under applicable Indian law.
We do not use your data for profiling, automated decision-making that affects your legal rights, or targeted advertising beyond the ad SDKs described in Section 5.
4 Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.
We share data only in the following limited circumstances:
- Gift card fulfillment partners (Woohoo / Qwikcilver) — your email address is shared solely to issue the Amazon gift card you requested. They process this under their own privacy policies.
- Email delivery (Amazon SES) — your email address is used as the delivery address for OTP verification and gift card emails. Amazon SES does not retain or use your email for any other purpose.
- Legal requirements — if required by Indian law, court order, or government authority, we may disclose data. We will notify you unless prohibited by law.
- Business transfer — if EarnKro is acquired or merged, user data may transfer to the successor. We will notify users before this occurs.
5 Advertising & Third-Party SDKs
EarnKro earns revenue through in-app advertising. The following advertising SDKs may be active in the app:
- Google AdMob — banner and interstitial ads. AdMob may collect GAID, device info, and usage signals to serve relevant ads. Google Privacy Policy ↗

These SDKs operate under their own data practices. You can limit ad personalisation at any time via Android Settings → Privacy → Ads → "Opt out of Ads Personalisation".
6 Surveys & Offerwalls
EarnKro's Tasks section includes optional surveys and third-party offers ("offerwalls"). These are operated by independent partners:
- Survey partners (e.g., BitLabs) — if you choose to participate in a survey, the survey provider may collect responses and demographic data directly. A one-time consent notice will appear before your first survey. Survey participation is entirely optional.
- Offerwall partners (e.g., AdGate Media, OfferToro, CPAlead) — if you complete an offer (install an app, sign up for a service), the offerwall provider confirms completion to us via a secure callback so we can credit your points. The data exchanged is limited to a session ID and completion status — no personal data from EarnKro is shared with offerwall partners.
You are never required to use surveys or offerwalls to earn on EarnKro. These are supplementary earning methods only.
7 Push Notifications
EarnKro may send push notifications to remind you about your daily spin, Lucky Hours bonus windows, streak milestones, and special events. Push notifications require your explicit permission — you will be asked in-app before any notifications are sent.
You can withdraw this permission at any time via Android Settings → Apps → EarnKro → Notifications, or within the EarnKro app settings.

9 Your Rights (DPDP Act 2023)
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right to access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to correction — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right to erasure (account deletion) — request deletion of your account and all associated personal data. To do this, go to App Settings → Account → Delete Account, or email contact@earnkro.com with subject "Delete My Account".
- Right to withdraw consent — withdraw consent for push notifications or survey participation at any time without affecting your ability to use the core app.
- Right to grievance redressal — raise a complaint about how we handle your data.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@earnkro.com. We will respond within 30 days. For unresolved grievances, you may contact the Data Protection Board of India once it is operational.
10 Children's Privacy
EarnKro is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has registered on EarnKro, please contact us immediately at contact@earnkro.com and we will delete the account promptly.
11 Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including:
- All data transmitted between the app and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.
- Our backend runs on Cloudflare's infrastructure, which includes DDoS protection, access controls, and encrypted data-at-rest.
- Email OTP verification uses time-limited, single-use codes to prevent unauthorised access.
- Redemption requests include abuse-detection checks to prevent fraudulent claims.
No system is completely secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at contact@earnkro.com.
12 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and notify you via in-app notice or push notification (if you have opted in) at least 7 days before changes take effect.
Continued use of EarnKro after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. If you do not agree with changes, you may delete your account before they take effect.
